Sun. July 19th

Sunny & warm. Haven't done many posts as it's basically been raining for about 6 wks. All of June & 1/2 of July.  Right now there's a lot in bloom - will try and get some pics when I get back from Maine. Daylilies mostly out, dahlias many in bloom (I think it does pay to start them inside). Bedhead was the first to bloom!  Many gladiolas from last year came back and are starting to bloom. Very pretty.  Bulbous lilies in bloom, a very red lily beetles but not bad.  The flowers are lovely. I've missed having them in the garden.  Veggies are just okay.  I don't think that garden gets enough sun and the bugs and beasts have been bad so far - slugs galore and many earwigs.  Gotta do something!
